Please stop by next Thursday from 9:00 to 10:20 and again from 1:00 to 3:00 to play our math games.

Christmas evening December 18.

Reminder of our Christmas evening here on Wednesday, December 18. The performance starts at 6:45 and you can drop your child off in our classroom after 6:30 pm.

Students are asked to wear Christmas colours on top and a neutral colour bottom or a nice holiday dress/ outfit.

Nutcracker field trip Monday

Reminder that we will be leaving Queensbury at 12:15 on Monday to walk to the theatre.

We will be walking in rain, shine or snow so please dress your child accordingly.

Nutcracker volunteers

Mrs Karr is organizing this field trip and has already arranged for parent volunteers. 

Thank you to those who offered to join us. I will definitely be needing your help on future field trips!

Multiplication facts

Please help your child start to learn their multiplication facts. We will be starting with the 1x and 2x tables. After that we will be learning 5x, 3x, and 4x.

Flash cards, games, computer programs and quizzes are all good ways to help your child memorize their multiplication facts.

Remembrance Day slideshow

Subtraction and addition test Wednesday

Please take some time over the next few nights to practice addition and subtraction of two digit numbers with regrouping. 

They can write any questions they like and then either have you check them or they can check their answers with a calculator.  The hardest part for many is switching back and forth from adding and subtracting.

Halloween party

On Thursday afternoon, we will be having a Halloween party in our class. The following students have signed up to bring items to the party.

If someone would like to bring some pre-cut veggies, that would be appreciated.
